There are cowboys and there are cowboys! Some are ranch hands, while others are ropers, and still others are both. Team roping has become a big money, popular nation-wide pastime. These affairs can go from local jack-pot ropings, to large Rope America events, all the way up to the National Finals Rodeo team-roping title. In the cowboy world it correlates to golfing in the corporate world as far as the participants dedication, time and money spent, and competition.
