The cowboy way of life has changed a lot during the last fifty years. Pick-up trucks, butane or generator powered cook stoves and lights, modern veterinary medicine and range management, as well as some college educated cowboys seems to say that its all so much easier now-a-days. However, the lone man and his horse out on the trail, checking some fence line, finding a lost stray, saddling up before dawn in the rain, snow, cold and wind, will always be a part of the American ranch life.
