The Bull Moose is a massive animal and is known mostly in northern states across America, as well as Canada and Alaska. They are the largest of the deer family, with extremely large palmate antlers.  Bill was commissioned to sculpt a bull moose and did so by personally observing and sculpting one during several days at the Cheyenne Mt. Zoo in Colorado Springs.  This is his interpretation, with a tiny bit of added surprise on the forest floor.  This bull is representative of many as the Icon of the North.
