THEM THAT LEAN TO LONESOME

This sculpture portrays in bronze the meaningful words of Don Hedgpeth; historian, writer, cowboy poet, friend and a longtime Honorary member of the Cowboy Artists of America. This piece gives credit to their independence, work ethic, self-reliance, love of God, family and country, which are all at the core of the Code of the West, that Nebeker believes in and honors.
