FUTURE CHAMPIONS

This young cowboy and his newly trained rope horse are learning to work together as a single unit, a synchronized team. After hours and hours, days, weeks and months of practice, they hope to become champions, and possibly win a trophy buckle or saddle as well as the day money at a local or regional roping event. A collector of Bill’s commissioned this sculpture to commemorate his son and horse who went on to be champions. Bill competed in local calf-roping events before he changed to team-roping.
