Robert C. Norris is a greatly respected rancher in the quarter horse, cutting horse, and cattle industry. His T+ brand is highly sought after in shows, auctions and working ranches throughout the country. Bob is Past-President of the American Quarter Horse Association, among other industry honors. Norris’s other fame comes as the Marlboro Man on television and in magazine ads during the 1960’s. Bob Norris, a long-time collector of Bill Nebeker’s sculptures, made sure Bill got the commission by the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo in Colorado Springs, to sculpt a life-sized bronze statue honoring Norris, at the Norris/Penrose Events Center in June of 2006. Norris is also a long-time major sponsor and supporter of the Cowboy Artists of America, and an Honorary member of the CAA. He has been on the Board of Directors of the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum since it opened in 1965. The American cowboy legend lives on in Bob Norris as the Boss of the T-CROSS Ranch.
