I RIDE THE WILD COLTS

A working cattle ranch regularly gets a new string of green (unbroken) horses, that must be broke and trained for the unending days and tasks of a cow horse. There are often a few, really wild ones that need a special breed of cowboy who is self-assured, extra good at getting a green colt to accept a working saddle, use a bit quickly and efficiently and rein easily, as well as be dependable on the trail with unexpected animals, wild cattle or unknown terrain.
