Pick of the Remuda

Cowboys have very specific needs and wants when choosing the horses they use for working on a ranch, competing in a roping event, or rodeo.  They look for just the right composition, endurance and savvy.   Many modern ranches, especially the big outfits are breeding and training very fine horses for ranch work, Cutting competitions, team roping,  Ranch horse sales, and Ranch Team Rodeos.  This bronze sculpture depicts one of these specially bred horses that could be used for several of these events, and is the:  “The Pick of the Remuda”.
